The Mobile Radiocommunications Laboratory of the National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A.) and the Radiocommunications Laboratory of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) renewed the present website, four years after the start of operation of the "Hermes" Program.
The visitors have the possibility to seek the results of the radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation measurements in the environment for the installation site and for the time period they are interested in. It is pointed out that there have been recorded more than 5.000.000 measurements so far, which have showed that even the maximum recorded values of the electromagnetic radiation are tens of times below the reference levels which are valid in Greece.
Moreover, the renewed website includes extended information about the electromagnetic radiation, the international guidelines positions, the relevant european and greek legislation, as well as a special educational section (e-learning). The ambition and objective of the two Laboratories is the "Hermes" Program website to constitute a node of valid information, for those visitors that wish to be informed on basic knowledge, as well as for those that need to deepen their knowledge on topics about electromagnetic radiation

"Hermes" Project has expanded in Northern Greece, in collaboration with the Radiocommunications Laboratory of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.). The new feature of the system is the ability to measure the contribution of different radiation sources to the total electromagnetic background level. This is achieved by the use of appropriate selective measurement stations - for the first time worldwide - and conduction of analytical spectrum measurements. The first selective station has been installed and operates in the Building of the School of Science of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the measurement results are available to the public.
